Translated from Spanish
Be humble as My Son is humble; not as you imagine humility, but as My Son taught it.
[John 14:10, ESV] Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.
Observe His attitudes, study His character, for the perfect model of humility is in Christ. He was so humble that He entered Jerusalem on a donkey, not as a king of this world, but as a Heavenly King, for kings are appointed to serve, and humility is shown in serving; not in what can be seen, but in the heart.
[1Peter 3:1-7, ESV] Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, when they see your respectful and pure conduct. Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear—but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious. For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands, as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. And you are her children, if you do good and do not fear anything that is frightening. Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.
Get to know Me, says Jesus, and I will teach you how to be truly humble through My character, through My person. Those who are truly humble have worked hands. Their heart has been broken many times. If you want to know true humility, follow Me. I washed the feet of my disciples. I served them. If you want to be humble, go with your brother who asks you not just one mile, but two. Serve your brother (your neighbor), for serving is true humility. I am on the side of those with a low chin, a bowed head, and a heart willing to help.
[Ephesians 4:2, ESV] with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love
The humble heart doesn’t seek to exalt itself. The humble heart doesn’t seek to be seen by all men. Rather, it loves intimacy with God. The humble heart—The humble heart!—doesn’t seek the recognition of men. It seeks only the recognition of God. The humble heart only shares its works with God. The humble heart does not seek fame, does not compete, but always seeks to give. True humility is walking in My way. Tomorrow I will come, says Jesus, to seek the hearts that humbled themselves before Me, the hearts that decided to tread on the serpent of pride, those who overcame pride.
Make your heart humble. Seek Me, says Jesus, because the men of this world only seek the things of this world: the recognition of this world, the pride of knowledge, the pride of materialism, the pride of wealth. They are blinded. They cannot understand that all these things are fleeting. But true humility, born of a pure heart and a sincere faith, is the one that lasts forever. It is the one that grants you entry into the Kingdom (through mercy).
[1Timothy 1:5, ESV] The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.
Jesus made his triumphal entry into Jerusalem on a donkey, dressed as a poor man. And yet He shone like no other.
[Jeremiah 17:9-10, ESV] The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? I the LORD search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.
True humility is in the hearts of those who cry out to Me, of those who weep, of those who get on their knees and speak to Me and seek Me and pray to Me, because the one who is proud cannot get on his knees, is not able to get on his knees for anyone, because he only seeks his own vanity and the things of this life and the recognition of men.
Everything you have is not yours. Everything you have was given to you from the Kingdom. Then how can you claim that you have everything, when none of it belongs to you? I am the One who gave you all your talents, says God, and all your gifts are a present from Me. From the one who has much, much will be required, but in humility (of a pure heart) that does not seek its own advantage but only to please My Father.
My brothers, says Jesus, bow your heads, lower your eyes, learn to listen, close your mouths when speaking of the ego. There are people who are given gifts and then they exalt themselves. But the one who was given much needs to be more humble. Understand that My Kingdom will be given to the one who does not seek the first places, to the one who waits to be called, to the one who leaves room for another who is in greater need. My Kingdom will be given to those who have a heart like My Son’s, who humbled Himself to the utmost, to the lowest of the low, in order to win over the whole world and all His brothers, in order to save the souls that deserve it. Learn from My Son, from My beloved Son.
I love the humble, says God. The poor will eat at My table, and the needy, the hungry and the afflicted. They will be invited to My feast. But the haughty, the arrogant, the self-centered, they will remain outside. The door will be closed to them, and they will not know My Kingdom, because on earth they did not know it, because they dedicated themselves to exalting their name, to proclaiming their name and not Mine. But you are not like that. You are more valuable than gold. Magnify your hearts, not your names, not your pockets. Find Me in all things. Seek the beauty of all things. That is greatness, true greatness.
I cannot stand the conceited, says God. My heart remains with those who are fallen, with those who don’t want to rise above their brothers. For these, I have many things to give them, because all they want is to multiply them. But for all those who exalt themselves, My soul will have no appreciation.
Seek Me, says Jesus Christ, the Savior, the One who possesses the everlasting Kingdom. All glory belongs to HIM, because He humbled Himself until the very end. He was never rich on earth. He never sought to make a name for Himself like a false prophet. He did not live in houses filled with gold, adorned with purple and precious stones. He lived like a poor man, only having what was necessary, in order to completely defeat the devil, in order not to be exalted.
Yet, many proclaim His name on the streets, with the most expensive cars in the world, with private jets, with expensive mansions. I never called these people, because My heart is not with them. They do not know Me. They only seek the treasures of this world. Those whom I never called will not enter My Kingdom, because the last thing they want is to humble themselves. They just want their name to be known all over the world. They want the whole world to idolize them, and thus they become a false idol, bringing damnation to masses of people.
[Matthew 16:26, ESV] What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?.
But My Son never did that. He always went about stripped of the pleasures of this world. He never had to sell anything He was not, because I and He were always One. And He decided on His own to humble Himself to the end, because He knew that this was the only way to save you. Therefore, humble yourself before Me and bow your head and get on your knees to speak to Me, so that I may hear your prayer and be pleased with your supplication.
Tomorrow I will come on My white horse, and My eyes will look for all the hearts of gold that humbled themselves before My God. I will take them with Me, and I will evaluate carefully who knew how to be the last in order to be the first in My Kingdom. I will look at the women, at their hearts, at their souls, and I will detect those who knew how to be humble and serve Me.
My children, do not be deceived by the powers of this world. There are many thieves on the loose, who boast about themselves, deceiving with craftiness and trickery and sorcery all the hearts that seek fame, and they catch them like a fisherman catches a fish with a hook as it swims in the river. Do not be deceived, because Jesus is not in the temples filled with gold and beautiful images and artistic paintings. None of this comes from My Kingdom.
I am pleased with things that are humble, simple, neat and clean. I have no need for all this wasteful extravagance, says God, for all these things are transient and serve only the lust of the eyes and of the heart. Instead, seek what is good, what is pure, what is simple, what is modest. Everyone who humbles himself will be exalted, and everyone who exalts himself will be humbled. This is a law in My Universe, and everyone who fulfills it will have a part in My Kingdom.
Do not be deceived by this life, because it is fleeting, says God. It is an illusion that is touched for a moment, that is lived for an instant. But the true life, the true wealth, is not found on this earth but in My Kingdom. Do works of righteousness. Proclaim My Name. Heal the wounded. Work for others; for My lost sheep, for My wounded sheep. Humble yourselves before your brothers. Learn to surrender your whole heart. Learn to suffer for Me. This is true humility: to deny yourself, to take up your cross, and to follow Me. Deny the desires of the flesh, the pride of this life.
[John 10:11-12, ESV] I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them.
Humility is an attitude of the heart, a way of living: always seeking not to stand out, not to be the first, not to outdo anyone, not to be right, but to be content with little or with much, to know how to adapt to different situations. This is true humility, to leave everything for Me, to give up everything for Me, says Jesus.
[Matthew 22:37-39, ESV] You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Now My children, I am calling you to be humble so that My eyes will recognize you and congratulate you. Go through life like My Son entered the golden city on a donkey: simple and humble of heart, with no display of wealth, of vain things or of technology. And whatever things you have, let them be for My glory. Use them for My Kingdom, not for self-aggrandizement or to be seen by others, for my eyes do not look on these things. They only look on the works that remain in the spirit. And the humble are producers of abundant works that remain forever. Therefore, be fruitful in humility, for in riches nothing is obtained.
[Matthew 6:19-21, ESV] Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
[Matthew 11:29-30, ESV] Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
